The Eric Kantor Tennis Academy is now based in Florence South Carolina. Having been one of Florida’s top tennis academies, we have enjoyed success in developing young players into top tennis professionals and collegiate players. The Eric Kantor Tennis Academy is committed to High Performance.

The Eric Kantor Tennis Academy was founded by Eric Kantor in 1995, who is known for his unique coaching style, feel, and knowledge of the latest teaching techniques and coaching philosophies. The goal is to create exceptional people, leaders who exemplify the highest character and compassion and to help any young aspiring tennis prodigy raise their game to another level. 

Lead by his knowledge and experience, Eric Kantor Tennis Academy practices a philosophy based on commitment and individualized and group training.

Eric has coached in Florida since 1995. Since returning to Florida, Eric has had the unique experience to work along side some of the best coaches in South Florida as well as the world. Some of those coaches have been Bill Clark (Jr. coach of the year), Rick Macci (Jr. Coach of the year) and Harold Solomon (Former #5 in the world ATP) Eric has had the great pleasure to learn from those great pros.  Eric has been a coach for Florida Team Tennis and Florida Zonals. Along the way Eric has had the great opportunity to work with some amazing players that have gone on to produce some amazing results.

 

Monica Puig – Olympic Gold Medalist!!!!! As of September 2016 career high WTA Singles ranking of #26 Finalist in 07’ 14 & Under Orange Bowl & Eddie Herr. #2 ITF junior in the world, 2010. Winner and Finalist of several ITF events

 

Mikail "Misha" Kouznetsov - at 17 reached #5 (2000) in Florida Men's Open division. Played and qualified for several Futures and Challenger events. Eventually received a full scholarship to University of Maryland Baltimore County (Top 50 - Division I). Misha was a senior at College Park, Washington D.C. USTA High Performance Regional Training Center, working with Francis Tiafoe and many other Top U.S. Juniors.

 

Misha developed Francis Tiafoe from the age of 7 to 16. Francis became the youngest champion of the prestigious Jr. Orange Bowl Championships at the age of 15. His name is along side the likes of Roger Federer, Andy Roddick and John McEnroe

 

Alina Jerjomina - Highest ranking #779 WTA. Played for the U. of Georgia (#5 in the nation) on a full Scholarship.Johannes “Bob” Van Overbeek – Achieved a high rank of #54 ITF Juniors and #931 ATP Circuit before accepting full scholarship to Univ. of Florida. Brianna

 

Brianna Armellino – Finished top 30 (12’) in USTA Florida Girls 18’s, received a full scholarship to Division I Appalachian State University.
